Note: The CBTB Board will hold an emergency meeting on July 1, 2024, at 5 p.m. on Zoom. The meeting will open and then immediately be called into executive session to discuss legal matters. Upon completion of the executive session, the board will reconvene in open session to vote on any necessary actions and adjourn the meeting. UPDATE from our Board July 1, 2024 : The Corrotoman By the Bay Association is in receipt of complaint Case No. 103CL24000181-00. We have engaged legal counsel to file a response. The Board of Directors believes the Plaintiff’s lawsuit is without merit. Click HEREfor more information.
Board of Directors
The Corrotoman By the Bay Association was incorporated on November 27, 1970 as a non-stock, non-profit organization. The primary purpose the association is to maintain and preserve the common property and recreational facilities owned by the Association, as well as promote preservation and purification of the Corrotoman River. The Board of Directors is an all-volunteer group of CBTB property owners . The annual election for open board positions takes place during the May CBTB Annual Property Owners Meeting. The Board is made up of nine CBTB property owners in good standing. Each Board member serves a term of three years and every year three board members’ terms expire so there is always an opportunity for rotation. Officers are appointed by the new board every year.
